This ceremony will blend both Turkish and American traditions. In Turkish culture, the bride and groom traditionally walk down the aisle after their families, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. In this celebration, those traditions will be incorporated alongside American elements to create a combined experience. The ceremony will begin with a grand entrance by the coupleās close loved ones, including the bridesmaids and groomsmen, followed by the maid of honor and best man. The bride and groom will then make their own grand entrance together, accompanied by a dance. After the entrance and dance, the couple will be seated at their table with two witnesses and the officiant.

The officiant will then begin the ceremony using language and structure that reflect a traditional American wedding. Following the exchange of vows and the couple saying āI do,ā the witnesses will give their consent. The bride and groom, along with the witnesses, will then sign the official marriage certificate, which formalizes the marriage in the United States. After signing, the couple will stand, the groom will lift the brideās blusher, and kiss her on the forehead. The ceremony will conclude as the couple moves to the dance floor for their first dance.
After the first dance, the celebration will continue with the gold and money ceremony, a meaningful tradition in Turkish weddings. During this part of the ceremony, guests are invited to approach the couple individually to offer their well wishes and present gifts, typically in the form of gold coins, jewelry, or monetary contributions. These gifts are often pinned onto ribbons or sashes worn by the bride and groom or placed in designated keepsake areas. This moment symbolizes support from family and friends as the couple begins their life together, offering both blessings and a practical contribution to their future.
Once this part of the ceremony is complete, the reception will then begin.

Reception
Jacksonville Golf and Country Club

Attire: Semi-Formal
The reception will begin with a transition into upbeat music and open dancing. Unlike some traditional American weddings, there will be no cocktail hour, allowing the focus to remain on celebration and time spent together. The reception will reflect both Turkish and American traditions, with an emphasis on extended dancing, including group dancing, and the incorporation of traditional Turkish music throughout the evening. Guests will have time to greet the couple and share their well wishes in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Dinner will be served during the reception, followed by formal speeches as a meaningful moment for close loved ones to share their words and blessings. A champagne toast will also take place as part of this time, allowing guests to celebrate and honor the couple together. The celebration will continue with music and dancing, leading into the cake cutting and bouquet toss later in the evening. As the night comes to a close, the couple will share their final dance together before the reception concludes. The evening brings together elements from both cultures in a single, cohesive celebration centered on music, movement, and shared joy.
